Our Manufacturing & Distribution teams are the driving force behind our supply chain. They work as a team to prepare and deliver real food to you and your family. Whether it ends up packed in your lunch box, eaten on the go, or served on your dinner table, it's our team's personal touch that gets it there.

What Do Manufacturing Workers Do?
Manufacturing workers are expected to have a robust set of skills, working knowledge of hand tools, and the dexterity and speed to keep up with rapidly-moving lines. They are generally tasked with loading and unloading items on the production line as well as removing them from carts, dollies, or skids as they arrive. They must also move from area to area and maintain working knowledge of each part of the production line.
Manufacturing workers must maintain the proper flow of electricity, gas, or other dangerous material to keep the production line running smoothly and efficiently. They should have working knowledge of a variety of hand tools, including soldering, to work on parts on the production line, and quality control and visual inspections are also important to ensure the best end-results. In addition to working on production lines, manufacturing workers must perform preventive maintenance on these lines and their valves and gauges to avoid a large-scale breakdown.
A high school diploma is often a minimum requirement for this position, and manufacturing workers must also be quick on their feet and able to multitask on a regular basis. They usually work forty-hour weeks with occasional overtime, and travel is not necessary for the position.
